Biomass & Alternative Fuels

As the U.S. demand for energy to fuel our vehicles and heat our homes increases, so does the urgency to meet that demand from domestic sources. The U.S. has the resources and capabilities to develop biomass and alternative fuels to serve a multitude of markets and purposes, and decrease our reliance on foreign countries for fossil fuels. The emerging bioenergy industry requires federal R&D funding and legislative policies to support the development of these promising technologies, and bring successful projects to commercialization.
